We are selling our 3 yr old PB Shorthorn Bull. He's registered as, RR Tommy Boy 406 #x4108770 D.O.B. 4/18/06
Sire is Sin City, Dam is a KaBa' cow bred from KaBa Legend and KaBa' Roan Lassie.
He's got a great live cover pregnancy percentage, easy going, good temperament. Have frozen semen from him also.
We've had about 20 calves from him. He's done an excellent job of producing smaller calves 75-90 pds, healthy, excellent structure, very hairy and great temperament. Great show cow offspring, my daughter is showing 4 of his calves from last year this season.
We live on a small ranch and just don't have the room for him or we would be keeping him.
This bull will make dreams calves for some lucky person. Attached is his picture that was in the SEK Genetics semen catalog. Also attached are a few of his calves. Not great pictures and they've grown quite a bit but should give you an idea. Can try and take more recent ones when we get out of this snow storm :O)
At 4 months old he won:
2006 Colorado State Fair Champion Shorthorn Bull
2006 Champion Feed Calf Douglas County Fair
also:
2007 2nd place NWSS Early Spring Bulls
2008 American Royal Reserve Champion Junior Bull Calf
2008 NWSS Reserve Junior Bull Calf
Reasonably priced, we want to retain a portion of semen rights.

Ok, this may be a stupid question, but I thought this was the bull you had sold on a partnership deal and you were having trouble keeping semen and got it worked out, is my memory failing me?

I thought that was the roan bull they had at NWSS that they had the problem with a buyer.

You're right. It was the roan bull that we previously sold. Everything ended up working out fine.
In February we just had a full brother to Tommy Boy. Looks identical except has a brown nose.

Ok, sorry, that's what happens after 40 you start forgetting things, I knew you had 2 and couldn't remember which one it was.

LOL! I'd probably be safe in saying that you are younger than half the people on this site (lol) I know it was confusing there for a while. Wouldn't expect anyone to be able to keep the two bulls straight.

We are finally drying out around here. We plan on getting all of Tommy's calves that we are showing this year washed and some great pictures taken so we can get them posted. Stayed tuned!

I thought I would throw this guy to the top again and see want happens. If we can get a break in the weather I'm working on bathing his calves my daughter is showing this year and updating this. We have a great blue roan heifer and a super thick beautiful steer.
