I had 2 heifer calves born last week. 4/28 & 5/1 both are out of our herd bull. Purebred Shorthorn, Reserve Champ Junior Bull at the 2007 Ohio Shorthorn Breeders State Show. Both out of black cows, one straight angus and the other is an unregistered Teddy Bear (Shorthorn) daughter out of an angus cow. Both calves look great right now from what I can see. The black and white calf looks as if she is gonna make a pretty cool show heifer and the other isnt far behind. I know they are too young to be sold right now, but just getting them out there, and if anyone is interested drop me a line and come see for yourself. Pics were taken when they were 1 and 2 days old. Both will be registered Shorthorn Plus (50%).
Thanks

Update:
Heifers are growing great, nursing well, and the black and white girl is getting super thick (clapping)
