Just a note on our upcoming sale Oct. 25th.  It will be held at Kirkwood College in Cedar Rapids Iowa.  Consignors include High-View Shorthorns,
Long Family Shorthorn, Dave Luett, Mike Tjaden, Joe Labon, Keith Heneke and us (Mitchell Family Shorthorns). The sale will consist of 55 head of breeding lots plus 10 steers.  Phil Raisbeck will be bringing 25 head of breds from the heart of his herd.  They will be bred to Ace of Diamonds or sired by AOD.  We are bringing some outstanding heifers sired by DF Tuscaloosa and DRM Mickey. Dave Luett will have some Canadian bred cattle in the sale. Our sale page can be viewed at www.edjesales.com

We are working on them.  Right know we are getting pictures from all the consignors to do a flyer for the Illinois, Wisconsin and Iowa State fairs.

hey Mitch, do you have any pics of the Tuscaloosa calves yet?
I am attaching a photo( I hope) of a March Tuscaloosa heifer.  She is still green but coming along quite well.

She looks really good!  Will you be around or be able to show calves labor day weekend? We'll be coming through Iowa and we'd like to stop by if possible.

We will be in the area.  If we know when people will be close we make sure we are around.
Thank for the nice comment.
