Attached are a few photo of heifers I have for sale for my uncle. These calves are bred by Greg Cornell. The Baldy is a Friction out of a Simmi Cow. The Solid black is a Fiction out of a Simmi cow. The smoke is an Alias out of a Simmi cow. She has a SWEETHEART disposition. These heifers have only been weaned a week and washed and roughed out once. They are at my place in Lafayette IN. We are 15 to 20 miles for some upcoming sales at Jeff Millers, Selke, Joe Metzger , and Jason Graves. These will be nice females and make solid cows. We have a few very solid Shorthorn heifers as well.

  Thanks
  Jeff Cornell

I'm interested in 2 of them but have a couple of questions. How much for 2, would he truck them to oregon, and will they be bred back? Or I am willing to trade a bred pair.

I am very glad you are interested in the heifers. As for trucking you would have to line that up and pay for it.. We really are not looking to trade at this time. As for a price on two and not three the price would be $1000 each. Yes they will breed back, I really am not sure as to this question, but they will breed.. I hope you have gotten all your questions answered.

  Thanks

Where are you located? When were they born? and when will they be bred back? Are they going to be bred to AI sires, or a herd bull?

Dude, these are heifer CALVES, not cows.  Feeder Duck's herd bull IS an AI sire, just so you know.

The heifers are all March of 2008 heifer calves they will not be bred. We are located in Lafayette IN as stated in my earlier post. These heifers were pictured at one week of weaning and have changed ten fold. The Solid Black heifer is far better than she is priced. The smoke is a a true commercial female. If she does not make a good cow I just may be 40 and clueless. Some say I am anyway!!! What can I say on the baldy. She is a colol faced baldie.  We have sold plenty of calves at $1200 to $3000 that have resold for $12,000 to $15,000. Just because they are cheap does not make them bad!!!!!!! if you can not see yourself buying a $1000 heifer I will gladly price them at whatever price you are willing to spend, Ha! Ha!  ;)  (lol)

If someone wants new photos I will get them. No fluff and puff, just pictures!

Thanks
  Jeff

Yeah, and it looks like they are around 7 months old too. Some people run different programs than others. I was asking because I wanted to know if I needed to leutalayse anything, or if he was willing to hold them over and breed them. We run a 500 pair ranch with herd bulls so its a little diffucult to pull out 10 to AI so I like to buy my females bred up. We dont breed anything until they are 15 mos old. Obviously I have never bought from this person before so I had no idea that his herd bull was an AI bull. But thanks for pointing out the obvious . O, sorry I wasted your time, I thought that you were from California. And thanks for being "far too kind".

You did not waste my time and the far to kind comment was to Justin. He is always complimentary of peoples cattle and he comes from a very good family. Sorry you thought we were from farther west.

The heifer pictured below  is still on the cow. I am not planning on taking more of her until she is at my place in about two or three weeks. This is the only photos we have of her at this time. She is out of a bull called Triple X that we raised and is in IL at Joel Brooks Shorthorns. He is a Vortec son out of a Canadian pedigree cow. Her dam is is a M&M Wild Thing(Full brother to X-ray) x Windstar. I think she is flat out cool. That is why I do not want to photo her again until it can be done well. We have a Vortec heifer for sale as well. The Vortec is priced at $1500.I have one Durham red heifer, that is younger and looks really good priced at $1000. If you are interested in the Triple X heifer please call. I attached a photo of her dam as well.

I'll get some, she just got over being sick. She didn't seem to miss a beat. If it does not rain Sunday I'll see what I can do. Where are you located?

The heifer may be registered as a sim solution, I'm not 100% positive. Shipping is up to the buyer. I will be glad to work with whomever you can line up. I may have  new photos this weekend.
