IN NEED OF A STEER

My little brother is deciding to show next year and i want him to start with some good quality cattle, would let him show my calves but they wont be ready until  sept. of 2010. I need a steer that was born in  aug. to october of this year, in order to be eligible for our state show and has to be black but will accept a little bit of white on it.  and a heifer born from feb. to april of this year preferably a reg. shorty or angus but commercial heifer would do too i live in alabama and would rather do business in the southeast but if he/she is a shore enough show stopper i will consider traveling farther if yall have anything jus pm me

I have a heifer that might interest you. She is a June 2009, solid red,  Purebred Simmental heifer. She's out of STF Montana Black and my up and coming Dream On x SOSF Alias (3/4 sibling to Ebony's Joy) cow. She's  a bit younger than you stated, but she's of very high quality and is located in Alabama. I will need to retain ownership of her through the Alabama Junior Beef Expo in March(senior year so I'm greedy about having as many good ones in my name as possible ), but she will be kept in my showstring and shown along with the rest of my heifers at a few county shows, Dixie Nationals, and the Bama Junior Beef Expo till then. She would be very gentle and used to showing by then, and your brother would have a heifer that was already started that he could continue with for the next year.I'd love to se her go to junior nationals next summer and would be glad to assist in any way to help you get her there. Comes with fitting at AL shows. Shoot me a PM if you are interested. Located in South Alabama; will be at most AL Junior Shows, so your viewing her wouldn't be an obstacle.
