These heifers will be offered at the Iowa Royal on Feb. 10th.  These are flushmates by Radio Active and out of our donor, Waukaru Primabella 3118 (Trump).  They are both polled, and are late Februarys.  Both are very gentle, perfect for younger kids.

Unfortunately, we have had to drop the white heifer out of the sale.  We are very disappointed about this since we've had a lot of interest in her but we are unwilling to sell her to someone after the vet found an abnormality.  The roan heifer is still in and is looking really good!

They look like very nice heifers.

Since they are out of Radio Active, I have to ask TH and PHA status?

I will look them up  in Febuary.

Not a big Radio Active fan, but these girls look nice. First one looks a little better then the second one.

Nice work.

The heifers look real good.  She was a pretty cool heifer herself before she was a cow.

That's what I was about to say.  They've had some really nice calves out of her so far.

Yes, 3118 has really been producing well for us.  Last year at Polled Congress we sold another flushmate to these 2 heifers that was top selling female.  We also have a July flushmate that we are retaining to put back in the herd.  This summer we will be showing a ShorthornPlus bull, LSF Shazam, out of 3118 and Kadabra.  We also have a 3118 daughter by Final Solution that we think a lot of.  She has really worked with every bull we have ever mated her to.  Her first calf was a Junior National class winner sired by Sabre.  It's fun when a show heifer can go on to become a great cow.  Thanks for the compliments on these heifers, we really appreciate it!

Those heifers aren't my type, but they look real nice.  Bet you do well with them... bet that donor is pretty nice too.

The heifers look real nice, the first one looks like she will show well!  How are they for bone?

I would say their bone is a little heavier than the average Shorthorn.  They definitely have enough to work in the show ring but not too much to be feminine.

very nice! I love the first one but woould worry about her getting straight.  How does the white one move?

Neither one of them are too straight.  The roan is as sound as can be and moves out great.  I would not expect to ever have a problem with her soundness/mobility.  The white one has a shallow heel and maybe doesn't move quite as well but is adequate.
