Just a note that SteerPlanet.com is not responsible for the transactions that occur due to this Classifieds forum.

As always, buyer beware, and we recommend using common sense and a safe method of payment to ensure your transaction is successful.  I would recommend always completing purchases face to face and present the money at the the time you are picking up the item.

I would NOT send any money on the internet unless you have full trust in the other party and would at the very minimum talk to the other party on the phone.  Also DO NOT ever complete any transactions where the individual tries to send you more money than agreed upon and seeks to have you refund the extra money to them (This is a Well-Known Scam).

IF IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE - IT MOST LIKELY IS.  USE COMMON SENSE, SEEK ADVICE FROM OTHER PEOPLE, AND BEWARE THAT EVEN ON A CATTLE MESSAGEBOARD; PEOPLE WILL TRY TO SCAM YOU.

Pm or Email me if you anyone is soliciting anything fishy to you and they will be BANNED immediately.

I just wanted to make a suggestion to potential sellers & even those looking to purchase. It would be really beneficial to both yourself & those interested if you added your general location to your post. That way someone in your area might be more inclined & let someone else know you're too far.

Just a suggestion!

there have been some concerns that they are ads for others cattle being listed. Unless you have permission from owners it shouldn't be done. I would perfer owners to post permission for anyone else to sell their cattle. we don't want to break copyright laws or have someone promise something they don't have rights to & can't deliever. It's basically false advertising.

thank you,
Red

need help to understand how it add a classified add with a photo

when you post, right at the bottom of the new post area, there is a link that reads "additional options", click on that and it will open a file browser to upload your pics.

I talked to a gentlemen last night that had some of his cattle posted without permission.  Please do not post anything unless you have expressed permission to do so.

Having trouble posting pictures.  I see the attachment text box and the <Insert Image> icon.  What path should I put in for my attached pictures?

Thanks,
Farmgirl

I hope this is the right place to post this.  I'd like to request/suggest that those of you posting multiple pics in an ad,  please remember that quite a few of us still have dial up and ads with more than three or four bigger and/or higher resolution pics per post,  may never load for us.  More work okay if they're smaller, though.  I know we're the minority, but for some of us our location leaves us no other choice - doesn't mean we're not interested too, though.
