Selling 1/2 Interest & 1/2 possession in this 100% Angus blood bull, on March 28, at our Private Treaty Bid Off Sale .   You will also have to option to double up & take full possession & 75% interest.  Registered as a 50% Lowline Angus & all of his offspring can now be registered as percentage Lowline cattle.  He will stouten up your herd in a hurry & he will add serious calving ease.  His sire had an unbelievable MMI marbling score of over +80!  Out of several thousand head of steers that were DNA tested by MMI, the average MMI Marbling score for low choice steers was +7, the average for choice steers was +14, & the average for high choice steers was +20.  The marbling potential on this guy should be tremendous!  An almost identically bred sibling was the Reserve Grand Champion Percentage Female at the NAILE.  She is pictured below, as is the bull.   PM for more info.

I take it the other half is red angus TJ.  I must say, that's a good looking critter.  Impressive.

Ian Bamford sent me this picture of his sire before he was imported from Australia.  His sires name is Murrumbong LGL Bluey... Lazy G Lowlines (they post on this board) in Washington owns him.  The son looks like he might be deeper flanked & it looks like the son has a slightly higher tailset, which I personally like.  I also am pretty confident that the son is cleaner/more extended fronted.  I put a pic of the sire over the son, so that you can compare the 2.

I regret that I don't have a picture of his dam.  I saw her in a video & I was impressed... she was broody, but she was also clean fronted... nice looking, sound, Red Angus cow.  My computer crashed, so I lost the video.  I purchased the bull from a guy that I knew really well, who was dealing with health problems, & was dispersing.  He absolutely hated selling this bull calf & the red heifer calf that was Res. Champ at the NAILE.  He no longer owns any cattle, so I don't know if I can get a picture of the dam or not.

Actually Bluey (the sire of this bull) is very clean-fronted. You just can't tell from this picture.  He's also cleaning up fronts on cattle that are a little sloppy.  Justin can attest to some of Bluey's fullblood progeny as we had quite a few in Denver this year.  And all his calves have been deep with lots of muscling.  This calf of TJ's looks alot like our fullblood bull Red by Design...Bluey's progeny are easy to spot as they look alot alike.
