Too bad you have to PAY to watch/bid online. I am not willing to give someone that I don't know my credit card number so that they can charge me $1 to watch and possibly bid. Those that have actually done this in the past, couldn't watch the sale they tried to anyway, as video was down and audio didn't work.
Guess I will stick with DV Auction (where I can watch and bid for FREE)  and the NWSS red angus sale on Monday at 3 pm mountain time.

Good luck cattle nut... it will be interesting to see how this all works.

I have the same concerns about the video auctions as you do. Some you pay for and some you don't but it seems like the technology still has a way to come either way. The line speed and refresh rates are still issues either way. We did our heifer sale with a different company all together. They all are ok for watching but in my opinion they are not good enough for bidding. The way I look at it is that most sales have enough friends and colleagues or consultants present that hopefully bidders not in attendance can find someone in the crowd that they trust with their money.

Either way, we are very excited about our offering in this sale and hope that people understand the effort that has gone into our program and that the resulting calves are unbelievable. I hope that interested parties find away to bid in confidence whether they are present or not.

Thanks for the comments.

Wish I had the resources to purchase this year, this program is IMO second to none.  Best of luck to you on a successful sale.
