ShorthornPlus and Chi steers for sale in Indiana/Illinois

Attached are pictures of steers we are selling at the ALM Show Cattle And Friends Private Treaty Sale in Medaryville, IN on September 11th & 12th.  The black and white one is a Hired Man out of a Heat Seeker cow, born in April.  The roan is a ShorthornPlus steer born in March and sired by Sin City.  They can be seen in Hoopeston, IL until about the 9th, then they will be at the sale site.  For more info about the steers call 217-283-7922 or 217-304-3613.  For more info about the sale visit their website  www.showsteers.com/manchester/index.htm

Hey, you bet he's got a good mother!!  That Highland prefix will do it for you!  She really has made a nice cow and puts a lot of performance in her calves.  She was a good buy!

You'd also be interested in knowing that we had a Step Ahead son win DuQuoin State Fair this past weekend. I guess we should have had him in Springfield but just didn't think we had him ready.
