I will be getting to the rest of the Triple X steers this week for clipping and pictures.  I got rained out before I could get to that pen, but there are 5 Triple X steers we brought down from Nebraska.  There were several good heifers up there, but I left them up there so they can be kept as replacement heifers.  The maintainer hefiers are worth more to them up there than down here in Texas.

Thanks for the comment Red!

Here are the first 2 Triple X steers that I got clipped for the sale. Both are late September to early October calves.  The black steer is out of a Sim x Angus cow, and the red steer is out of a Whiplash x Sim x Angus cow.

I'll get more sale cattle pics up soon.

Here's a pair of November heifers that are in our sale.  The black heifer is Lot 23.  She is a November Registered Angus heifer out of Conneally Industry and the second Lot 24, a November Registered Red Angus heifer out of Conquest.  Both heifers were bred by Cedar Top Ranch in Nebraska.

For all those coming to the sale, don't forget to bring your semen tank.  I have Triple X semen on hand.

That "Red Angus" has a whole lot of white on her belly.

There is no white on her belly.  Must be a shadow or something that you are looking at.  She is truly a Red Angus.

I hope you get them sold.  Some of them are pretty pricey.  I wish I had time to come see them in person.  I fell for you if you are having to clip all of them yourself.  I know what an undertaking it is getting calves clipped and pictured.  It isn't much fun but it is necessary.

This red steer is out of Triple X. He is not for sale at ZNT's sale but thought it would give you a good idea what the bull can do. He was 75 pounds BW & is good structured, good hair & thick. Also seems to be very calm. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again & he might be a good replacement for ali.

Calves are coming along great.  Here are a couple more pics of calves in the sale.  We do have several more lots that are really cool, but not pictured.

The first is Lot 17.  She is a early September out of HooDoo Absolute and an Angus cow.  The second calf is Lot 4, who is a June Sunseeker.  The third and forth pics are of a baldie Sunseeker that was also born in June.  The steers are going to make some powerful steers for Denver, Arizona, or Ft. Worth.  The smokie heifer was one I just couldn't pass up.  She is going to be an awesome clubbie momma.

Hope to see you on Sunday, and if you can't make it, we will be taking phone bids.  For all the sale info, go to:  www.zntcattle.com.

How did your sale go? hope it was a sucess!

Red

We got several calves sold on sale day, and had several new families purchase calves from us.  Overall it went good.  That said, we do have several excellent steer and heifer prospects still available.
