Oak Poisoning Treatment
« on: June 08, 2012, 03:43:13 PM »
My show steer has had a little blood and mucous in his stool for the last two days. I know he was in a pasture with an oak tree and read that it is poisonous to cattle. I don't think it is very severe but I don't want to lose him this close to Fair and would like input on treatment (antibiotics, etc.).

Thank you!

A phone call to the vet!
Just because I own the ugliest cow in the world doesn't mean I can't be proud as heck of her. It also doesn't change my love of the game when she gets last every time.
