I have not had good experiences with it. Shape can give some cattle essentially a sugar high and make them hard to handle as it did my showring veteran steer at one show. The feeds itself dont seem to be as palatable as others on calves I've tried it on. They may actually be good feeds but getting them to eat it is the hard part.
In my own opinion I think Purina is a champion's feed. Alots of products and variation for your needs & it's almost impossible to find a calf that wont eat it. For supplements, Purina may lack a little. They take longer to produce results than it should but Sunglo makes fine supplements. They have fatteners, expansion products, joint health and just about everything under the sun and more.
