How long does everyone excercise calves a day and how many times a day? I have had a lot of people tell me a lot of things for putting muscle on/ just exercise

I walk mine each of my calves for a half hour a day, sometimes using the show stick. I usually walked mine in the evening so temperatures weren't as bad.

I totally agree with Hawkeyenation. You wanna get them used to being on their feet for klong periods of time, because if they aren't they are not gunna stand for you at the show!

We try our calves up for about four hours for ( five calves). Then while they are tied up we use the showstick on there feet so they get used to it. After about four hours we walk them for about two hours. If you have a heifer or steer acting up walking them to water and back will help alot that's what helps us with our heifers or steers.

It's so hot here, we can only walk in the evening.  We tie our steer up 3 hours everyday.  (under fan & mister of course)
