I too vote for silence from your  website.  I usually have my own music playing while I'm browsing, and there's nothing like two different songs trying to play through your speakers at once to make you flee a site.

Also, I believe there are legal issues with using copyrighted material in advertising.  Don't know that it's really likely to cause you problems, but I'd say the possibility does exist.  I'm pretty sure this is why alot of web builders use those cheesy instrumental versions of dated popular songs.

I agree. NO music. I always X out of a website if it has music. I think it turns away alot of potential customers. jmo tho.

 I have learned that music is extremely personal and most people will not like what you like.
