I have a Money Man x Angus cow I want to flush. She just calved a few days ago. She's moderate, stout, and stylish.  I want to flush for heifers and steers.

Anyone have any ideas? I'm thinking along the lines of Heatseeker or Smooth Sailing

CARNAC SURE SHOULD WORK ....The Strictly Busines bred cattle sure have some good females ...

I'm sure she's TH/PHA clean but haven't tested her. I think I want to use a Heat Wave son for the flush and then might AI her to Show Business (Strictly Business x Hairietta). It would be between Carnac, Smooth Sailing, or maybe Invincible.

smooth sailings wont get very big and they arent the best shouldered.  personally i would go with carnac from those choices.

I don't know about structure on Carnac. I've heard Smooth Sailing is consistent and I also like Highliner but would need to see his calves. If Smooth Sailings don't get very big then he might not be the right choice but I sure like his look.

A couple pics of her heifer are on this thread http://www.steerplanet.com/bb/index.php?topic=15160.0
She's sired by a full brother to the simmental bull Dreamcatcher. Low BW, too early to tell what she'll turn out like.

I have seen several Ali's out of Money Man cows this past spring that looked good, that cross seemed to work well.

CTR Success works WONDERFUL for females on MoneyMan daughters.  Seen bunches of them out at Major's.  Have you considered Dr. Who?  My daughter has a beautiful Dr. Who x Money man.  I thinks she's going to be one heck of a rip come spring. (if spring ever gets here)

Thanks for the recommendation on CTR Success. He looks like an interesting bull. I think I'm going to flush her to Smooth Sailing. I think the females out of him would be better than most HW sons and I've also heard he's CONSISTENT. Thanks for the ideas, I might AI her to Dr. Who after the flush.

The CTR Success x Money Man females turn out to be tremendous cows.  Of course I had all bulls lol.  Wish I had a good picture of that Dr. Who.  We are battling snow drifts and TERRIBLE ring worm so we'll have to wait to show her to you.
