Do you elevate the front legs when they eat? How much and when should you start?
How much lbs of feed do I get him to? Should I feed any hay and what kind, and how much?
How do you exercise? No chariot so other options? When do you start that also?
Do you wash goats, with what soap and conditioner and how often?
Are there treats we can use to get him calmed down and coming up to us? I used raisins for the Pygmy's.

You can, elevate by building steps that you can adjust as he grows. Start asap, 1 lb or whatever he will clean up at each feeding, 2 times daily a.m. and p.m. Gradually work up to 2 lbs per feeding possibly 3 lbs. then again, whatever he will clean up. No Hay, maybe a handful per day for roughage, but too much hay means less feed intake, which is less weight gain and finish. NO CORN to a whether goat, he will likely end up with kidney stones. Exercise by walking, build a playground or give him something to play on in his pen. If you have 2 goats, you can take one out of the pen, walk him away from the pen a ways and turn him loose and he will run back to the other goat in the pen. repeat. No need to start exercising right away, maybe a month after you get him, or after you get him on feed good. Yes, you can wash your goat, but not to often. Rinse mostly, you will want to keep a fungicide on hand also, after washing, mist with a fungicide, same as after a show, if it is a jackpot show, or any time you take him anywhere other than your farm. You can use a show shampoo from Sullivan's Supply, or any other show supply. But, you can use about any kind you want, bright lights shampoo from Sullivans will make the white hair shine good. Don't use conditioners, some or most judges don't like to put their hands on a goat with a lot of conditioner on them. Put feed in your pocket or a pouch, and entice him with that, he will get used to you when he realizes that you are the one who feeds him. Patience, spend a lot of time with him and just build trust with him. Hope this helps, good luck with your goat.
