My kids first year showing lambs. We have had them about 2 weeks. Today the have their heads down and won't eat. They just want to lay around. What do we need to do for them?

They were born at the beginning of January. One has a little cough, his stool is softer than the others. No runny noses, but eyes are goopey.

They said they already had the shots they needed so all that we have done is worm them. We have a supply of cattle antibiotics, but do not know what to give them. Also should I go ahead and blackleg the lambs again, just to be on the safe side as far as up to date on shots?

Sounds like a respitory issue, pnuemonia or shipping fever. Please call a vet immediately. Sick lambs that have droopy ears do not last long!
Good luck.

I wouldn't worry about blackleg.... we have never treated ours for it and we have never had one get it, so I wouldn't worry about doing it again... just call your vet and ask what to use because several cattle antibiotics will work on sheep!!
