Have a real nice steer out of I-80, every time he hits a growth spurt he gets a little straight up front. Then he fills back out and looks fine. Currently 7-750 lbs. Should I be concerned about how he grows out? Anyone watched a few of these grow out?
FYI dams a super sound IW granddaughter home raised have dam and granddam, very sound Angus.

Interesting to see the videos posted of In God We Trust and Hawkeye as calves. Nice to see them as they look on the cow.
Also appears as though the bull business is almost as tight knit on the owner side as on the bull side.

So we have 3 MAB * 805 bulls to pick from now? Plus other 805 sons.

I initially thought online sales were great, and from an ability to view multitudes of cattle they still are a great resource. But....Online sales have propped up the show cattle industry with inflated prices and false reporting to the point where the reality of the market has been lost. No better than a subsidized market, yet the subsidies are false. How many "sold" cattle have been offered for lease and sale for pennies on the dollar after being "sold" online for substantial money. It's a saturated market, for an industry where success is defined by your ability to hide faults with hair. Every dispersal is followed by 1,000 people trying to sell the progeny from cows they bought that the same cattle big name producers would have been marketing and finding out they can't get a bid. I digress, I momentarily forgot that perception is reality and truth an unwelcome perspective. Ok, back to reality. I mean, well, a version of it...or whatever the inter web tells me is true.

talk about STOUT and HUGE ASSED. What's his predigree like?
You repeatedly indicate "ass" in these threads, what is the said "ass" you are referring to? Is my computer malfunctioning? Is there a 3D picture or a rear shot I am not seeing. Are you gifted with an intuitive ability to see a calf at one angle and know what the other angle looks like? I'm not knocking the calf, but if you're telling me he has a huge ass from the side profile haired up picture it shows on my screen...then set the bottle down.

Which one of these bulls is bigger framed to those who have seen both? How do they compare to monopoly frame wise?
Obviously MM is a year older so he's easier to score on frame. He's a notch bigger than Monopoly in my opinion. MM is very good fronted and designed well. Walkie Talkie in my opinion is the correct frame score for a yearling clubby bull, he's not a dink, but big enough to have some grow. WT is bigger boned, bigger hipped. Honestly if I didn't have a prejudice against using new bulls he'd be right at the top of the list to try. Phenotypically he checks a lot of the boxes off the list. I'd expect (obviously just a guess at this point) him to throw a wider skeleton and notch more power than MM.

Will post pics when I get to place that raises et calves,,,,,but honestly all are rats,,,,,don't believe me,,,,come buy em,,,sight unseen
The reason it seems unlikely to me is that every calf came out that way. If true, sorry about your luck.
