The Big Show / Re: K-LER Young Money
« on: January 18, 2012, 07:57:57 PM »
We raised him.

His dam sold in "The One" Simmental sale, 1/2 interest for $31,000. He was champion bull calf in the show, and generated a lot of interest for us.

He is incredibly sound and massive, built very similar to his dam, and had 38 cm scrotal. We are planning on using him very heavily this summer either AI or possession depending on what happens. Either way, he is a bull that can work in a lot of different situations. Although his CE EPD is low, he calved unassisted at 90 lbs. Full sisters have been performing incredibly well as well (several over $10,000) and have been winning some big shows including regionals, different state fairs, jackpots, etc. His combination of pedigree and phenotype is why we are so excited about him.

We sold a heifer to Washington, and we were wondering if anyone has any trucks that are going out that way? We're located in Southern Minnesota.

A video of this heifer is now up on our website www.kaehlercattle.com

Sire:K-LER Make It Rain
He is our new promotional bull, and the sire of our best calf crop ever. He is extremely sound, and his first and only calf last year was Reserve Division at Simm Jr. Nationals. Super easy calving as well. Over 40 calves, used on both heifers and cows, and not one pull.

Dam: K-LER Hayley
She is a maternal sister to the dam of K-LER Sweetness. Sweetness was the only Pb. Simm to win both the Jr and Open show at Denver in the same year. The dam of Hayley is 14 years old and still producing.

Videos are now up on our website of almost every heifer.

Thanks for all the interest and PM's

Videos will start to be put up later today, I will add them as they come in.

The Big Show / Re: Bulls we raised, what do you think
« on: April 17, 2009, 01:51:56 PM »
Nice pair of bulls. I think that the R & R Warehouse cattle are for real. Keep us posted please as to how the calves come along. Brent

The calves look great. It is our best sire group that we have ever had. One breeder with a couple hundred head, said that his Make It Rain(Black bull) calf was the best calf he ever had. We haven't pulled one, and so far the best calf at our place is a Make It Rain. We have a July heifer that will be shown hard this summer that looks great, she was the 1st and only calf last summer.

The Simmental Bull is a DW Foundation out of a Powerline Cow. His dam was Champion Bred and Owned and Res Sup Heifer at the 2004 NCRC, which was the largest Regional and bigger than Simm Nationals that year.

The Shorthorn Bull is a Final Solution out of a Pa Do Suds cow. His maternal sister was Res Sup Cow Calf at the MN State 4-H show, and her first calf sold for $12,000. His dam is one of our best cows.
