The Big Show / Re: Which bull to use?
« on: July 16, 2013, 04:18:29 PM »
Polar ice sired the class winner hoge said in his reasons that RC AOB was between him and 2nd class 5 who was named RC. By pedigree we assume he is clean I have not tested any of them.he is moderate framed not a big one. He has only had a couple of calves as he was not used other than to clean up a small group that had been AI he sold a nice american out of him which is a neat twist to him. We have bred a bunch and flushed several to him. I flushed my monopoly to him( pictured ).

Yes he was very hairy as a calf. His dam was purchased in the 2009 cream of crop she was lot 40 a cow I doubled down to own her all. She produced the class 4 AOB winner this year in Houston she is a Lifeline x Meyer x 6807

Here is a bull that I think will make a slick one. I have posted his calf pics and dams pic before and here is his mature pic. If you like them moderate and monster boned look in. Jacob Tusa is offering semen in his online sale that ends today." LifeJacket" Yellow jacket X lifeline

Yes that is the calf Tusa bought. The neat deal about him is he is super stout, moderate and has two super cows close in his pedigree. Give kent stewart or James Rathman or James Davis a call they have seen him lately. He will throw steers that will slick and I think the daughters will make cows

I will have to try and take some. I have a calf pic of him taken when he was a month old. You can make the short drive to Franklin when you have time he is still on cow with no creep feed

Take a cart to look at cattle or get there early to use one they provide and take the key with you when you get out to look. Will be lots of good cattle. I grade them by catalog, video and in person. I have had great luck with the donors I purchased.
