that's like what we want. basically, something that's motion sensored to a vehicle like 10 feet in front of it, take a pix, and let us know who was there. it's just going to be at the end of the barn.

might even get another dozen to watch the cows!! just like sullivan's.

i'm tellin ya that new calves at our house is like feedin time at the zoo. we have desperately needed some kind of security camera system at our house for the past 3 days. we have neighbors and relatives showing up unannounced so they can get a sneak preview at the competition. it's getting really ridiculous. we are concerned about someone coming and doing something to the calves when we aren't here. it's happened before.

so, i need some input. any suggestions on what to get?? we're looking for something on the inexpensive side, like $125 or less. we just need a basic camera. not a full-on fort knox lockdown.  ;D  although, that would be awesome!!

i might've found something that would work for us. thanks for all future help.

12.375 is what i got for square inches.

what i was actually going for is to see how amazingly huge my heifer's loin is compared to what it would normally be.

her's is 16.9 inches long.

it didn't happen to me, but a pretty funny one this year was seeing tyler faber's grand champ 4-H market steer get away from him. another really funny one was seeing metinka slater's steer get away in the governor's charity steer show.

here are the videos

faber: coming soon

btw, faber won market steers, and breeding heifers. both of which were the ugliest colored animals on the planet.
(Don't know how to make this purple but it is from one of your post on this topic minimoo38)
This is what I was referring to. I thought you were referring to the steer and the heifer, must have been wrong.

oops. brain's faster than the fingers. i meant to say that ferguson's steer and faber's heifer were the ugliest ones. (i was going to paste it into another part of my reply.)

I think Rodgers was involved with the Freeman steer as well.
wouldn't surprise me. everyone is always somehow involved when somebody wins. (ML will be the first one to start up the celebration) rodgers is in with kohlhaas. harkema missed his 4-peat, but got in with grimm's mkt hfr.

Was the grand the same steer that won the beef expo back in Feb.?

I wouldn't think that black color would be considered ugly on a steer.
what do you mean?
