Does any one have some insight on what or where red angus association is headed? Seems a new computer system and a move to a Denver suburb is counter to promoting cattle, but what in the heck do I know.

Trying to find if there are any red angus left in the country. Wildcat creek selling out, having a hard time finding a bull to use, have been using several angus bulls and working on a breeding up deal. Can anyone shed some light on the reds?

For you polled Hereford folks, Paul Trueblood passed away Sunday. Know he health wasn't great but didn't know he was that ill. One of the good old timers.

Evidently there was a big power play at St Joseph in the past few weeks, end result, about a dozen out the door. Know some of them, some not to smart, some probably thought they were way more vital than they turned out to be. CEO had a letter o the website saying all will be overcome. Any body heard anything?

Sitting here thinking how I don't have to drive to Denver on 2 inches of ice, I was wondering about some of the people that made the circuit from years ago. Freight train, pinky, Joe Lewis, D T Carter, several more I will think off after while. Also some of the critters that struck a cord.

Been a long 2 plus years, drought, no rain, more drought and all that goes with it. 13 inches of rain and a fair calf crop have kinda brought things to a better place. Have stayed home a lot, got calves on the ground, just want to know what the reds are doing. Seem really quiet, big dispersion coming in fall, is there a future for this breed? Tried several bulls, fat Tony, expectation, jack hammer. Calves look good, just not a lot of gas in the tank, big enough might be the question.
Bred a stallion daughter to a black bull, she has 4 daughters and 2 granddaughters on the place. Just don't hear much, would appreciate a little feedback.
