Reading through some literature from ADM Showtec, they have texturized feed and a cold pellet. Have any of you used the cold pellet, do any of you know which is better? I know opinions are like af$h*)e, everyone has one but why aren't other high end feed companies using a pellet? Maybe they are I'm just not familiar with it.

Have any of you used Sunglo's Man Up product? On their website it says mix 8oz with 150 Ml water, so is it a drench or top dress?

Sent in an entry for the NILE for my daughter received a phone call today stating that they were sending it back because it was not received by September 14th and due to limited space theywere not excepting anymore entries. The website says entry deadline was post marked by September 15th. Needless to say I am disappointed in the shows decision to close entries early and further more that no where did it say anything about entries closing early due to limited space.
What are your thoughts?

Wanted to share a couple of pictures from our new arrival this morning. This is a Harlem Shake calf out of a 3027 X Yankee cow. 94 pound BW but was delivered unassisted and he was up and nursing with in 30 minutes.

Going up the road today and these critters are out in the middle of the afternoon, we usually only see that when we are going to get a good storm. Thought you might enjoy the shot.

I just wanted to post a couple pictures from our county fair. My girls had a good one and we are very proud of them and their hard work.
First is my daughter with her steer that we bred and raised and was Reserve Grand Champion, he was sired by One & Only and was out of one of one of our PB Hereford cows.
Second is my daughter with her Grand Champion Bred and Fed pig, that we purchased from one of the local breeders.

I know it seems like this thread comes up several times on SP but I would like some opinions. I am considering flushing this cow, she is a Stoutline X Yankee and 2 years ago raised a very nice PB Hereford calf, her calf last year was a Deadliest Catch and again a nice calf but I am disappointed in the size of the calf and I sure didn't figure that size would be an issue. She is AI'd to One & Only this year. I am considering flushing her to either One & Only or MAB, but also wondered about Smilin Bob.
I also have considered Exile for a shorthorn cross or a Whiskey son for a Maine cross, maybe The Irishman.
