Well I'm pretty proud of my 7 year old son , opening morning he braved -5 weather with -20 wind chills in our blind and got it done ! His first buck ever with my muzzle loader ! I loaded it down to 70 grains and got him some shooting sticks , 80 yards one shot ! Its all about getting them outdoors in any way shape or form ! Good luck to all the hunters on here this season !

This is a reg. half blood Simmy x Angus heifer calf that I really liked as a calf but now I'm wondering. She's out of a Meyer 734 daughter that came from Akers and an Optimus Prime son. My biggest question is that she's not quite as stout as I like them ? Or am I being to harsh on her ? From the breeding aspect I think she's got the pedigree and the looks , just would like some more bone ?

Can't decide what to do here...... this calf is out of my favorite cow and a bull I own a full brother to. This red calf would be an outcross to everything I've got on the place except for mamma , and she's not getting any younger ! My question is , do I keep this calf back , is he good enough I'll post a picture of his dam and the bull I would be replacing with him to get some opinions. Thanks in advance !

Would there be a market out there for a red simmy bull like this guy or should i steer him? He's got some leather up front. He is a pb simmy out of both black outcross parents.

Just wondering if anybody has has any information on Sandeens SOS sired cows ? Just the general stuff such as udder quality , longevity , and what type of mating seems to click on them ? Just bought an SOS open heifer that i absolutely love but these genetics are kinda new to me other than the Meyer in the background. Thanks in advance !

Just wondering what would be a good suggestion on this BC Lookout x 3C Macho halfblood heifer. Shes very deep and soft made , dont have a current picture yet as i sold her earlier this fall and now shes coming back home. Second picture is her 3C Macho x Dream On dam. Lookin for a heifer calf out of her. Either a Simmy bull or a halfblood ? Thanks.

Anybody out there try the halfblood Mo Magic bull on any first calf heifers ? I know he doesnt have the greatest calving ease epds but neither does Mo Better and I know of plenty that have used him on heifers. Thinking maybe Mo Magic on a couple halfbloods I have. My heifers calving ease and birth weight epds are very good if that helps the equation any. Thanks
