You shouldn't breed heifers to either of those bulls. Maybe look at http://www.streamlinegenetics.com.s10.agtown.com/storefront/cattle-semen/semen-polled-bulls/semen-purple-chachi-65z-et.html if you are wanting to use Purple Reign bulls.

What is the heifers pedigree?  What are your goals with the resulting calf?  Do you have a picture?

Mason doesn't have any calves on the ground yet.  He is a phenomenal individual and has been a high seller thus far after Denver.  One bull to consider that consistently does exactly what you are after is H H Perfect Timing 0150 ET.  He puts a ton of rib and fleshing ability into his calves along with added thickness and muscle.  He is easy calving, low birth and has a tremendous maternal pedigree.  He is being used by breeders all over the country.  We have sexed female semen available at $50/straw.

Check out streamlinegenetics.com they only handle Hereford genetics.

My suggestions without seeing the heifer would be. H H Perfect Timing 0150 ET, CRR 719 Catapult 109, DKF RO Cash Flow 0245, TH 60W 719T Victor 43Y, and KJ HVH 33N Redeem 485T ET.

Sires moderate cattle with some growth and style. Tends to make them a little wastier up front than other About Time sons but also sires a tick more powers than most.

In my opinion there are better About Time sons out there. DKF RO Cash Flow 0245 ET and H H Perfect Timing 0150 ET are the best out there in terms of consistently siring consistent cattle with the thickness, rib shape, growth and style needed today.

I stand with my first suggestion of H Excel 8051 ET.

Some of his daughters are shown on the site.

I like the Durango idea as well.  The only thing that concerns me is Reload tends to not transmit his power through his daughters.  I've seen a ton of powerful Reload daughters not have any power to their calves unless mated to a power bull.

I would go with either of these bulls:
H KH DD Excel 0091 ET

H Excel 8051 ET

Both bulls will sire ultra fancy calves with bone, hair, and stoutness.

What are your goals with the outcome? Retained female, show heifer, show steer, bull? That will be the best start in determining what to use.

He will be staying a bull as long as he keeps doing what he's doing.  He is out of a first calf heifer and with his pedigree shape should be a heifer bull.  We are located about an hour north of Purdue and would love to show you around!
