That's a good bull genotypically and phenotypically.   IMO a real female maker on the right kind of cow.  Good qualty semen from Mat & Dean too.

Congrats to your girls!   Your calves look great.

I've seen several high quality steers and heifers from him in Southern Ohio.    I had this heifer last spring from a low Maine Mr. Untouchable cow.

If you observed her standing when they jumped her then yes I would breed her early a.m.   If she was moving then I would hit her tonight and then again a.m..

You can turn them in with the bull a couple of days after A.I. unless you want to A.I. a second time after they cycle.

A.I. calves will be due 20 - 25 days earlier than the clean up.   IMO you can deal later with any (very few) that calve two - three weeks late (A.I.) or two - three weeks early (clean up).

Yes it's possible.  No I would not try to breed her, at least until the following cycle.

Mercedes Benz is what I would use at least on some of them.  I think you will get better heifers than you will get from Angus bulls on those cows, but still have consistent calving ease in a pure bred bull.  The bull calves will not be as valuable, but they wouldn't be from an Angus bull either.

Banshee is a Built Right X Anita Loan half-simmental purchased from Bushy Park by Pinnacle Sires.

Month old Banshee X Mercedes Benz.  Like her a lot - very sound/correct and has eye appeal.

If he is in that much pain what options did the vet leave you with aside from surgery?  They could probably fix it at OSU but wow you would have to guess that at his size it would be very unusual.

If it comes down to eat him or show him I suppose you have little choice but to have them give it a shot.

Sexed options would intrigue me and include Style (not sure about birth weights on him),  The Beast (Garwood),  Comfort Zone, Grizzly, and Slider (Angus - Competitive Edge)

I've fed it up to 50% of the ration.
