The Big Show / Re: Club Calf bulls that work well on PB Angus cows?

Have seen some sun seekers out of plain angus cows with not much power that were pretty tough to get around.  Great hair as calves and fat steers..

The Big Show / Re: Potential genetic defect in Shorthorn cattle

I noticed on a previous post the words shorthorn and commercial mentioned in the same sentence. I wish these buyers in cattle country nebraska were smart and wouldn't discount these shorthorn looking cattle in some major barns by at least 20 bucks a hundred.  Hmm.

I think you meant "threw" me off in a coyote den.   You know what, i really haven't missed engaging in conversation with AJ.

Well, the way i take it is they are saying that the dam of this bull is sired by newday, making her an angus dam.  If it said walks alone x new day x angus, then i would have to agree.  walks alone x newday (angus dam) means walks alone x an angus sired dam according to what i know about cattle and back to english and grammar class.  But hey, who the hell cares, looks like a hell of a bull to look at, will throw some good calves i'll bet.

This is why no one wants to put a their bull on here.  The beating starts immediately.  I would really want to state i'm taking my bull to denver, then have him beat up before he ever sets foot out there.  Seems to me there's some confusion here.  Actually, if New Day is an angus bull, this is a walks alone x angus.  He didn't say papered or purebred angus.  It was incorrect that he is a waks alone x simm angus.  walks alone x angus simmi would be correct.  No generation skipping occurred if you did not mention the next generation back, simmi.  Toby Keith, like him or not, made more money than anyone else in country music last year.  He's doing something right.  Correct me if i'm wrong.

Numbers of calves out there dictate a bulls sucess because of inconsisyency ib these club calf bulls regardless how good the cows are. Thers thousands of junk monopolys and heatwaves. That being said. Ill spend the 30 bucks on these 2 bulls clones and watch this marketing plan blow up in there face

Is this the bull you showed 2 pics earlier and asked opinions on whether it was the same bull.  The one you bought on a pic and the guy supposedly screwed you.  Did he feed into himself.

What i've been told there not docking these heavy carcasses like they used to.  Probably short supply of beef , they'll take what they can get.  Also, we have 1100 pound yearling steers coming off grass frequently in our are.  How can there not be heavy carcasses in those after there on feed for 120 days.   But you never hear of it.
