Ravidare the colts didnt win by a field goal to get into the playoffs because jacksonville already lost there game so it automatically put us in the playoffs so it didnt matter if we lost at that point other than what seed we was and when we played the pats. but back to your question we are at home should you even 2nd guess the COLTS to win they are going to kill the jets.....

GUN SMOKE he is a Wilson bull that won denver i believe 3 times if not 3 then 2 and he is all white so ur chances of having an all white calf is greater now

clip him down as tight as you can so he looks smaller than what he is and if it was my calf i would start to slow him down on feed unless u have an early july or late june fair 1010 is a lot for us right now our calves weight around 650-700  but our fair is not till late july

If you wanna be in the grand drive a lot this show season you will make time to come see Nicks calves. He has raised and bought calves that have been great animals and have won state fairs and tons of Open Shows. You might think wow these calves are expensive put honestly they are worth every penny.

thanks so far on the complements and what you think is wrong the 1st show they will be going to in Hoosier Beef Congress. The back and white one is from Matt Rorhbach and the black on is from Chad Cooper and Mike Edwards sale. If you are in Indiana or surrounding states i would recommended these two people to anyone and they are both great with kids and keeping there word about visiting and clipping out the calves. I believe they still have some calves for sale i would call or check out there websites

thanks gk

Cooper Edwards in Spencer, IN has a very solid set of cattle.
Sinclair and pruet also have a great set that will be state fair contenders.
Steve Quimby has some very nice ones.
Rohrbach in IL has the best steer i have been for the price he is asking

Well its the best time of year its getting colder.  And the truck is getting its work out pulling the trailer every weekend to find next years cattle and ive been to around 80 different places and saw 1000s of calves. Here is the question who has the best set of cattle u have seen so far in Indiana.

The Big Show / Re: hairy ears
« on: July 30, 2010, 03:13:19 PM »
personal i love big fluffy ears. If you put a calf in a cooler and do it right and give it enough time to develop then your going to have hair. the thing about the ears i feel like its on every calf because i had a calf with huge fluffy ears and the calf was big in the summer with a lot of hair. i know everyone loves coolers and i would love to have one but all we use is grow n shine and hard work. my parents believe 4H is so post to build up your work ethic and responsibility and i believe it has.
