Would you be interested in using some of those commercial cows as recips and move a section of your program into Shorthorns?
If so, see my recip needed post.

We have roughly 30 eggs out of proven matings we would like to get into a recip herd. These matings have produced many all Americans and most are out of all American donors. They are Shorthorn and calves should be under 90 pounds. Would either be interested in splitting or owning the calves 50/50 or buying the calves at weaning. Would be ideal for a young breeder that is looking to jumpstart their herd in one calving cycle or somebody that is looking to make some cash as a recip herd. Please email stuart@mcfarlandconsultinggroup.com or text 561-289-9009 if you have an interest.

Not sure I 100 perecent want to only be in the blue roan game. Really open to all ideas and colors. Had pretty good luck with Tiger Woods on a clean cow, but obviously he isn't an option here. Thanks for your help. You would need to use a HOMO black bull to guarantee blue calves, that being said,i think Thriller may be HOMO black and TH PHA free

I am crossing this donor over to the clubby world. After numerous people telling me I needed to do it to create Blue Roan calves and such, I think I have to give it a go before she gets too old.
Therefore, a little background for the folks that play in the clubby world.
She is a Legend grandaughter and out of ARSULU Kool. She was an all American during her show career, but we found out that she was a THC and PHAC. Therefore, the bull choices are limited.
I am really open to considering many different options, so please feel free to suggest. If anyone would like to partner in a flush or buy eggs out of a mating, I will be easy to deal with on price
Thanks again.

I have a great person to do the work for you. But being that you are in Nebraska, you might want to wait till March or April to get the best weather and results. We are looking for someone to take pictures of our donors. We done have a big budget to spend a ton of money. Let me know if you know anyone that takes pictures for reasonable rates.

Due to running short on hay and just an overall desire to cut back to 10 donors, we are selling an outstanding set of cows and bred heifers that we held back. All of them are priced to sell and have been reduced drastically with most ranging in that $1,750 - $2,750 range. A few of them are donor quality, but all would be excellent replacements to anyone's herd. They are proven and all are registered. While some can be viewed on our website www.diamondmshorthorns.com, I have posted a few others here. Contact Stuart at 561-289-9009

We have 5 falls and 5 spring yearling Shorthorn heifers that we have held back for replacements. However, due to family circumstances, we have chosen to price them to move. All are ready to breed now, and could be put out with DF Tuscaloosa if the buyer wanted. Would sell as a package or individually. We have reduced them to $2,100 a piece for a quick sale. Stolen as never sent a check on one, and took a few others to resell and never sold. A gentleman's agreement, but we still have all the reg. papers on the animals. Stolen as sold, picked up, but never paid. Did you have any kind of agreement in place.

The Snowflower x Centurion continues to turn out the good ones for you. That is great to see. Nice calf, and that mating works really well. Early March purebred Shorthorn Steer. He is a JPJ X Centurion. Has not been fed hard and was just weaned a couple of weeks ago. He is really growing and eating well now. Have sold 2 full brothers the past 2 years that have shown well. Breeding is predictable and this one will be nice boned, thick, sound, and have plenty of guts. Broke to tie and very close to broke to lead. Priced at $1700 or best offer. Please call or text 812-521-7776 for more information. Located in Seymour, IN.

We have a great group of fall yearlings that are ready to either continue their show career or breed for fall calves. There are 5 total, with one being a shorthorn plus. I have included some shots, but we will also be posting them to our website soon. If you would want any additional info, please email stuart@mcfarlandconsultinggroup.com or call 561-912-0788. Thanks for your interest, Stuart www.diamondmshorthorns.com
