I saw him last fall and again right before he sold. The breeders wife had him running with the wrong species. I think at first that bull wasn't sure what he was, hee haw. Turned into quite the stud though, super sound.

I also heard the high dollar cow from starlake went to Pennsylvania. The family's name is the same as one of sullivans guys. Not sure if there is any relation there though. Thats what I heard anyway, from the guy doing the bidding for the family.

This year we gave the the TAI a shot just due to convenience. After seeing all the orange tags when we turned the bull out for the next cycle, I will be going back to watching for heats!!!!

Anyone have the price of A Step Up's semen? Anyone there see the bull?
The majority of the A Step Up semen went for around $150

Does anyone know what the past few sale averages have been?

I can't really speak about the mo better calves but the mo magic's...yes. Not to take anything away from them at all, they are big bodied, sound moving calves (bulls), but he kinda splatters em up a little. I've had a couple bull calves and believe me, I was not a fan at first. But once those calves got older they really bellied down and stoutened up and really started growing on me. The color patterns were a little hard to get used to, but they sure are some good doin calves.

Asset is not dead, at least not yet, but there has been a hold put on his semen sales.
