The Big Show / Re: Structure Wreck or ??

By chance did the calf have to be pulled?  We had a Young Money steer that was over on his knees around this time two years ago.  By August, he was sound as a cat. He just glided along when he walked. We attributed it to a hard pull.
we had the same thing happen with an I 80 calf out of a heifer we weren't here to pull it so our neighbor did and I think that was the problem he used twine I believe and the calf had a lot of problems starting out but as the days went he just got better and better sold him as a bull and the people said you would've never known by the way he is today

We'll I would be posting a picture of her today but I went out to do chores and she was dead no idea why I mean the last time I looked out she was up running around and the boom dead no signs at all

So now I'm down to 2 dead and 1 live calf and 1 more on the way I am starting to think I'm not cut out for the cow thing ...

So the calf has turned out pretty nice overall has a slight under bite tho the older she gets the less it is noticeable but she is pretty cool kind of a smokey color also have a bpf comfort zone calf out of one of the cows daughters that is pretty stout

P.s the comfort zone calf is not photogenic at all he hides from the camera at all cost so this is the best I got

Exactly what cab said lol instead of rushing to get a vet for a c-section you just plan them cuz 90 % of the calves are 140+

The Big Show / HELP!?

This last calf I had was out of an I 80 heifer and bpf comfort zone calf might have been 75 lbs no bigger cow wasn't fat at all ... Last time carpe Diem cow had and I 80 calf that was 75lbs needed pulled time before that out of a herd bull the heifer ended up having a 130 lb calf and that's the most maternal cow we have .. Time before that my drifter heifer(Ali son) was bred to a pb Angus bull calf weighed 70 lbs calf needed pulled but we got here right as it came out so still saved it. Time before that was my first heifer dirty girl and her first calf was 110 out of carpe Diem (probably my fault on that one) but at the same time her walks alone calf was only 80 lbs lol..... Point is what if a full proof breed that a calf could come out sideways with no problems don't care what they weigh or how fast they grow just want something alive and that I'm more than likely not gonna have to pull
