Prime Shorthorn Genetics, Embryo interest for Sale
« on: April 13, 2010, 08:03:05 AM »
At some recent shows, we have been asked about selling interest on our heifers. This is a definate possibility, and we thought we would just throw the idea out there and see if any of you shorthorn or club calf breeders would be interested. With the fall majors approaching, we are starting to take serious inquiries on the sales of these elite shorthorn genetics. Atached are some recent photos of our shorthorn SULL Perfect Pattern, and our shorthorn plus SULL Miss Blue Blooded (THC).

Perfect Pattern ( WHR SONNY X SULL Perfect Solution) was Grand Champion at the Eastern Regional Jr. Shorthorn Show, Reserve Grand Champion at the 2009 State Fair of WV alternating PACE Show, a division champion at KILE (open and jr.) Atlantic Major PACE Show, a crowd favorite at the 2009 NAILE,  The Reserve Grand Shorthorn at the Ohio AGR, Grand Champion Shorthorn at the 2010 PA Beef Expo, the Champion Shorthorn female at the Bedford Co Jackpot, Supreme Champion Jackpot Heifer 2010 Big East Open Jackpot, the Grand Champion over all breeds 2010 Big East Youth Heifer Show, and the Grand Champion female at the 2010 WV State fair Open PACE show. "Patty" is a direct daughter of the 2005 NAILE Calf champion, and a grand daughter of the famous CF Picture Perfect (Reserve National Champion).

Miss Blue Blooded (SULL Blue Blood X SULL Breathless) was the National April heifer calf champion at 2009 NAILE Open Show, the reserve Grand Champion Shorthorn plus at the 2009 heart of it all, the Champion Crossbred and 3rd over all at the 2010 South East Classic, Champion Shorthorn Plus and Third overall ABC Summer Bonanza,  Grand Champion Shorthorn Plus Female at the 2010 Eastern Regional Shorthorn Show (Open and jr), Reserve Grand Champion Female at the 2010 Keystone International Open Show, and Grand Champion female at the 2010 Keystone International Jr. Show. She has only been shown 7 times."Kymber" is a direct daughter of SULL Breathless, who is arguably the winning most show heifer of all time.

Let us know what you think, if you have any questions, or would be interested in purchasing interest now or embryos later down the road.

thanks shortdawg, and she only keeps getting better. Looking forward to their continued campaign this summer and at the majors in the fall. We think the JPJ calves could be really good!

Those JPJ's have been good to me - just got to breed him to the right kind. We are showing two JPJ's this year - a steer we raised and a plus heifer we bought that is out of a super smoke cow.

we want showable shorthorn and shorthorn plus calves with good hair and maybe moderate these girls a tick, he was the only thing we could come up with that would be ok with calving ease! We will see what happens.

He will moderate, add muscle, style, and hair. I just picked up two recips this weekend that are implanted with JPJ's out of a clean Sabre x Primabella daughter. I'm pretty jacked up about these. One heifer and one bull !!!!!!

The AOD's I've seen have been really smooth made and pretty profiled, especially the females.

Like I said before, I may interested in some of those picture perfects in the future.  I am not sure just yet what I will want her mated to.  What are your ideas on her?  Look forward to seeing her next week.
