reworked website

I have revamped our website due to some major hosting problems (NEVER NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH FORTUNE CITY/DOTSTER) and would like any suggestions good or bad as to how I can improve it. Tips on how to write a good blog would be especially welcome. I still have some minor tweaking to do as well as add a picture gallery. Thanks

Pros:  Easy to navigate, lots of photos, blogs, a link to steerplanet ;)

Cons:  Too blockly, images could be resized a bit differently, lose the counters, bit too plain.

I be happy to help you out a bit if you would like.  You have a very good start.

Longway Ranch - SK, Canada:
Blog about anything!  It doesnt have to be cattle/farm related.  Be honest and emotional.  Blog about good food, or bad beer.  Blog about cows you wish you could own, or boots you love.  Blog about anything and everything.  Blog about the darn hat you hate, but keep on wearing.  Keep it fun, and emotional, and real.  People will come back and read it because they know its REAL, and entertaining!

On the website, I agree with Jason.  Keep it simple, get rid of the counters, size the images so that people can actually SEE them, and a description on each image is nice as well!
Good luck!

Thanks for the suggestions. I was just trying out the different counters, so that is an easy change.

Jason, I will contact you later.

Thanks

Jason, since you are probably a pro at this, care to give me some feedback on 2 sites I built?  One is ours, and the other is a site for my uncle.  Ours is www.bluffcountrycattle.com and the other is www.reinangusfarm.com  Always looking for feedback from others  on this board as to what you like, dislike, or how we can improve it!  Plus, I know how it loads on my pc, but no idea on others.  I'm thick skinned, so don't hold back!!  ;)
