Had to share this picture , this heifer has only been haltered a handfull of times but my five year old walked right up to her , grabbed ahold and made her look like something ! That little heifer was terrified of him at first but it was over in a second ! Hes still a little young though , gonna wait a while yet ! Other pic is when he still in diapers, im not sure who was more scared , him or the heifer ! Most children today sit in front of a video game , but not this one !

the kid is in a dangerous position if someone walks up on the heifer and she has to change her attention.  she could swing around and pin your child against the fence and with no where to go, your child could get stomped.

yes it's a nice picture, but these are not cute pets that can simply be pushed out of the way by a child if something goes wrong.

Your right about that knabe but nobody eles around , no dogs , no cats , no horses , no cattle , no cars to become a distraction ! Everyone takes a chance everytime they enter a pen with livestock and i think we all accept that. This heifers a sweetheart and i wanted her to get used to children being around , one day at atime .
