Just a little rant...

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm a little tired of looking at all the online sales and see quite a few heifers with the comments " future donor right here" or "big time donor here".

How many of these heifers are actually turned into donors? What happened to selecting heifers that get fed right and will continue as a good cow? I understand if the heifer has champion and excellent bloodlines/heritage, flush her. But a clubby heifer with a fairly average build doesn't really seem like a "donor cow"

end rant lol

Most of them will be flushed as "it says right there in the catalog future donor"

How many are superior specimens worthy of being replicated to that extent-- very few.

I always read "future donor" as "plain looking, forgettable female that I hope I can talk you into paying good money for"

Seen some average looking cows sire thick calves and great looking cows sire crap.

I've always attributed that scenario to how the dam was raised/managed and not as a reflection of the genetics.

Sounds like a line in an add to me, I don't pay much attention to them. There has been quite a bit of complaining on here lately, everyone must be getting burned out on looking for calves right about now.

Future donor: A double bred Heatwave Hiefer, has the look, the hair and the style to win everywhere (just may not have the milk nor the pelvic area to deliver or feed a Corrienet)

The only time I learned to use the term "always" was when it was applied to liberals.

Always for gun control
Always for redistribution of other peoples money
Always for fascism, communism, socialism
Always for class warfare
Always for two sets of rules
Always for minority group than qualifications
Always for every race, cultural group except whites and Americans

The list is always too easy to produce.

Doesn't need to have milk or pelvic area.  Eggs will be carried by one that does.

Been on the wrong side of a gun.

Reality is not paranoia.

Go to the places you mentioned for a reality check.

All the items listed are a reality.

It has nothing to do with paranoia.

Drive through la every weekend.

Never stop, no reason too.
