Those of us watching online only got to see about 2/3 or the sale so if there were specific lots you were looking at we may be able to fill you in? Just glad I was not trying to bid online.....
I assume NWSS and Eberspachers will have results up at some point.
Why does sale managers commit to doing the online broadcasts, but then auction continues if there are issues with the online broadcast? I realize they are all there and they just want to keep on going, but shouldn't they respect the audience online watching the sale? I think from comments last night internet was lost in the ring to cause the outage which sounds like a good enough reason to slow things down a little?

As a former Online tech, it is frustrating for everyone involved. The feeds can be interupted by an amazing number of reasons. One managers wife unplugged my power just as hubby got on the block, onetime the phone company diidn't install the internet at the sale until the 5th animal, once during the sale of a $120,000 horse somebody started playing in the server cabinet and unhooked me, you just never know..... The service needs to be PERFECT for this to work, and at this point most connections aren't. Patience is required. And of course int auction tech might make a mistake as well. :
My opinion it will not be a seemless operation until the auctioneer is owner of the online product. Then he will want to work with it. Many of tthem just hate the online services. They are just too much trouble for the amount of animals sold. But I think it will shift over time. I think that the number of online sales at CW and BW HAVE to be taking a big cut out of the auctioneer's pocket, and enable people with 10 calves to have a sale..... And all of the online products are wonderful advertising for your sale. I know I have viewed a sale one year, then went the next.

I guess you take for granted the online auction services that work seemlessly. There was another thread on here about LiveAuctions and people ripping them because they charge. Let me tell you I'd rather pay $50 annually (which is cheaper than the price of gas to go to Denver for me) than receive the service we did last night (missing 12-15 lots because the internet went down). But hey that's me.

I have watched sales on LiveAuctions that have had video and audio issues as well. Last years pen of 3 and 5 calf sale is one example. I would assume every company will have issues from time to time.
