I was finally able to get a few pictures of the babies.  There are still quite a few calves that i was not able to get pictured.

As i have stated in previous post, we used Yellow Jacket, Alias, Milkman, Lead On, Carnac, and our bull Smooth Blend.  We are very pleased with how all of them turned out, but our Smooth Blend calves may be our best calves. He has also thrown 10 yellow calves out of 11 purebred Hoo Doo females. We all know how these yellow calves are slicking these days. We plan on collecting him in the near future.

Alias x HooDoo - I think this guy is going to be a big time contender down the road

Yellow Jacket x HooDoo- This is a half brother to the paint heifer we sold in Kris Black's Creme of the Crop sale last year. His dam is the most consistent female we have.

i like the alias hoodoo. nice shoulder, balance, looks soft, nice head, nice flex.
for me, i think his best feature is how smoothly tied in his whole front area is as well as overall balance.
i think you have a consistent eye or matching ability.

Thank you so much for the compliments knabe.

The Alias is one of my dad's favorites in the bunch. Not the most powerful, but extremely smooth and balanced.

I think the Carnac calf took a great photo for you.

Yellow Jacket seems to throw the best muscle and bone in calves of any bull I've seen. From the looks of your calves, I bet you'll be real happy in that regards.  From my limited use, the trick is getting them pretty enough.

I totally agree Chambero. The Yellow Jackets we have are all big boned and have alot of shape. This was our first experience with him and i hadnt heard him not making them pretty enough. I guess ours happen to mate up just right. I would say besides the Smooth Blends, our yellow jackets are the prettiest ones we have. They all just have that look.  Now on the other hand, we did hear that he tends to put a little bit too much leg under them so we bred accordingly.

I enjoyed looking through all the pictures of your calves chambero. Let me know when you get a few more.  Iv'e got a couple Milkman calves that i need to get pictures of.  Are you going to Kris's bull sale next weekend?

thanks alot-  eric

Nice looking calves. How do you like your Milk Man calves? Thinking about using him some this year.

Thank you DSC

I like all of my milkman calves. He definately puts alot of stout and big bone in them. All of our except for one were pretty big at birth, but they were also out of charolais cross cows so they should have been. I will definately use him again, but i will prolly try him on a different type cow next time.
