We are almost wrapped up in the calving department, so I thought I would start the yearly 'New Babies' thread! Other earlybirds, join in and post your newcomers!!

Except the 35Y heifer, who is an Eye Candy out of a Maverick (Shorthorn) x Hereford daughter, the rest are sired by Eyes on the Money out of Hereford x Shorthorn cows. 39Y and 41y are heifers, the rest of the Eyes on the Money's are steers.

And one more!

This guy is an Eyes on the Money steer also. I've attached a photo of his three week old legs... mostly because I'm pretty excited about his hair! All the other calves are about two weeks old, so I'm looking forward to seeing how they progress.

I can see I will have to drive up there and take that group off your hands. I don't want you to have to look at those little creatures any more.  (thumbsup)

Really nice set! We have another month before ours start arriving.

I'm waiting for the first ones here yet, how about the rest of you guys?  Got any new toys to show off?
Since I visited guy in November who was already watching an cow with an egg in her, I'm sure there are some somewhere.

Thanks for showing your calves!

Great Calves and great pictures they are so clear you must be loving your new camera.  I might have to bribe you to come to Sask to take some pictures.
I can't wait until ours come.  Don't comb them too much you will ware their hair off. ;)

I AM enjoying the camera! It probably wouldn't take much to bribe me to come to Saskatchewan...if its not winter! One pilgrimage a year in the winter months is enough for me!

To everyone who posted, hank you for all the kind words! We still have a few more cows that I am anxious to get calves out, as they are a few of my favorites. We can't be the only early calvers out there??! I'm pretty sure you are all the lucky ones with the calving season still to go - most of ours came during -40 degree weather & lots of snow! Yikes! At least these guys don't seem to be cold with all the hair!

If someone else has got new babies, I would love to see them! We still have to make our minds up about semen to buy this spring!

Shortyisqueen-

What kind of camera do you have? Your pictures are great! Love your calves also! I will post some of my babies in the next few weeks.

Thanks,
Jordan

Calves look real nice...I really like the first and last calf you posted pics of. What are your plans for these calves?
