had a bright sunny day and calves were looking the part.  here are a few of our sping calves
286 - Carnac x Maine Angus Bull
2684 - Eye Candy x Char/Angus bull
2405 -  BIM x Dieter chiangus heifer

i don't have one of her from the side, wouldn't cooperate.  Will try and get more pics when time and weather allows.

thanks Jamie, Eye Candy worked really well on my char influenced cows.  seem to get really good hair on every mating.  wiish he would have given me more smokey calves, but not complaining on quality.  will use him heavy on them again this spring.  I really like how the carnac's feed and he makes em hairy and stout, i have learned we need to protect him on structure, but when you do he works really well.  here is another pic of the smokey eye candy x char/angus bull calf.

Thos BIM's look sexy.. How much did they weigh at birth?

I like your Eye Candy's, but I dont know if he's worth a $50 straw.. sure, it's only $25 more, but with Walks and BIM at $25/pop from Rodgers I would pick them in a heart beat.. All depends on the cow and what clicks on her though.

The BIM calves were real reasonable at birth 85 ish on the 6 I had. They are really coming on strong. Eye candy has worked really good for us and we will continue to use him pretty hard.

snapped a few more last night.  tag 405 is BIM heifer on Deiter ChiAngus cow.  Tag 1061 is BIM steer on Deiter ChiAngus
