I saw Mr. Harley at Nichols this last weekend and he's really good. He'll turn your head when you walk by and that is hard to make me do with a Hereford!

You make about the 5th person who I've heard say that , that saw him first hand. But the others only saw him standing. Did you get to see him walk? I see where these guys have concerns about his front leg structure

I did not actually get in the pen and make him walk. I'm not a Hereford person, but I was seeing what others saw in the picture what I had thought was an incorrect shoulder structure. The picture that you put up from the other side looks way better! I would say the bull is sound. if Minnaert's are in on the bull it says quite a bit. I don't know if the bull's numbers make him usable on a large scale ranch use, but in the end I do like the bull.

Other bulls that made me take notice were.
1. HB Guyman, very good front to back. My kind of bull.
2. SULL Legacy, extremely good SH bull that SH breeders here in the states need to use. Can help with a bunch of problems that the US SHs have.
3. Pays to Believe, Full sib to Pay The Price & RUABeliever. IMO the best SM easily in the studs right now.
4. Paradox, I have always liked him. He's starting to show a little age but he's only 6.
5. Broker, looked a little tough. Has hurt a hip or Stifled a hip.
6. No Worries looked like you would imagine an I80 to look. long fronted, smaller head, but maybe a little hard made.
7. Nichols Farms had one of the two best Angus bulls IMO. Final Answer son. Y34 is his freeze brand. If you like em moderate with a huge chest floor and a big foot, he has a lot to offer.
8. Have to ask, does anyone know who/what Meriel, Inc. out of Fulton, MO. is? They have somewhere over 40 bulls in Hawkeye right now and I have never heard of them. All of these are just MHO. Take them for what it's worth.
9. TC Reds have a young bull worth looking at. TC Hamley 20D
10 K-ler Cash Flow is a good son of K-Ler Make it Rain.
11. FuManChu looks good for a clubbie bred bull. Really extended through his front third, sound and moderate.

Tell me more about HB Guyman, CAB.  He is already on my short list to use this spring.  Is he deep bodied enough for today's trend?  How big is he, estimated frame score?  How thick is he?  By the way, I agree with you about Harley, I was the one that brought him up on this thread.

Frame wise I would just guess Guyman at a 6 to 6.2. I would just say that he is a very complete bull that will add look to calves. You may want to protect the bull by using him on soft made cattle but I think that he is soft enough. Long spined bull.

If only using Legacy were that easy. So far his semen has brought 5k a unit when offered.

We were able to buy a share in Red Power who is a Red Reward full sib and I think he will be very useful as well.

I'll be saving my pennies and try really hard to get some Legacy the next time he's offered though. I think he might be the best Shorthorn bull born in the 2000s.
