A few snapshots of Oakbar calves

I took a few snapshots while I was doing chores tonight.  The calves were either running with their tails in the air or grazing so I didn't get many good pictures but I was losing daylight so I did the best I could.  The last one is of our Vortec heifer(she's now officially a pasture animal) showing me what she thinks of me!!

looks like the calves have had a great summer.  Excellent set! What is the Weston calf from again. I think you posted that info a while ago, but I can't remember

SKF--the first heifer is out of Who Made Who and our light roan Studers Pretender cow.  She's been turning a few head this summer.

JIT--the Weston bull calf is and Ar Su Lu Tonic son out of the Sonny/Charmer cow we got from Vogel's a few years ago.  We sold his full brother as a bull last year.  He had an actual 205 day weight of 800 pounds--not bad for a first calf out of a heifer!!  He really stout and is a beautiful deep cherry red roan.  Super disposition as well!!

The third calf is  our TM Gus bull calf out of my daughter's show heifer last year(Trump X Lovely Lady).  He got kind of slow start(his momma thought she was the designated milk dispenser for the entire herd) but he's really coming on now and I like him better each day.
