Your post is interesting because I have been wondering the same thing. I have a short list that includes, Dream Catcher,Mammas Boy,Amigo,Encore,Foreman and the ABS bull Foundation. I don't have any experience with any of them, and I am not very familiar with Simmys, so to all you Simmy guys, of the bulls I have listed, should any be added, and which ones should be removed? I'm not trying to steal the post, just asking the same question.

For "CLUB CALF" producing  Simmy's here is a short list of proven bulls. Picasso for Maines or Maine Angus, Aftershock,Imprint, Meyer734, Meyer Blacktop, works best on Maine Angus and straight Angus.Maximus works really well on powerful Angus cows, and "clubby" cows with at least half Angus or Maine bloode in them.Dream Catcher is catching some attention also. The other Meyer bred bulls that are popular are not old enough yet to determine if the heifers will make good club calf momma's. S.O.S. is a half blood bull that works pretty darn good. There are some others, given time that will probably work also.

I think Top Sires Simmental line-up is a very solid line-up for clubby type genetics.

It includes Maximus, Picasso, Salution, just about any Meyer son.

Percentage wise, there were some really good ones out of SOS this past year.  Some more unkonwn ones that look to have a lot of potential are Mama's Boy, Grizzly, and Chopper.

I am not sure about Amigo for clubby type genetics.  I admit to not having seen any out of him yet, but I can't wait to do so.  I expect Grindstone Creek to have a ton on their sale this fall.  I absolutely loved him in yearling picture, and he was Grand Champion at Denver and Reserve at the Royal.  He is also out of an absolutely fantastic cow family.  I may use him on some red heifers in the future.

Another bull that might be worth taking a look at on heifers is the select sires bull Grandmaster.  There were some really nice heifers born of Angus cows on Hill Country's recent sale.

I agree with what Val said in an earlier post...use Meyer 734 or a Meyer 734 son...I prefer some of the sons (in a perfect world, a great bull will produce a better son).
