Congratulations Everyone!

We hit number 400 for members & still counting! I think the credit goes to the admin guys, Austin & Jason, who started this all! Also to our great moderators Cowz & DL! Most thanks goes to all of you though! Both the ones that have been here since the beginning & all the great new faces! We also hit an all time record of 42 people being logged in at one time. I guess the rumors that there are only 12 people here were greatly exaggerated!

Good going & let's continue to see growth & lots of good topics that are both cattle related & totally off the wall!

Sometimes the best thing is to think before you type in stuff & push the post key.
I guess we can't always tell "tone" on the internet so what may be joking can come across as scarcastic or meanspirited. so far everyone here has been very open minded to each other's opinions & all of our little character flaws.

Red I think what you posted above is what I like best about this message board.  I see lots of opinionated people on this board, but NO meanspirited people.  Lots of humor and kidding!  :D  A fun place to spend a little time, learn a little bit, express your 2 cents worth, or whatever!  Thanks everyone!

Made me feel more welcome than at a family reunion, when Red invited me to the site. Glad she did.

Why I like this board: Great "owners".  Great members. Great info. Great fun.

Seriously: This board has to be one of the best. We seem to be able to exchange information and opinions without getting mean, personal or just plain nasty. We can disagree and agree to disagree. We can debate without arguing. We can be adults regardless of our age. I love it here! ;D ;D

I have learned and confirmed info from the wealth of knowledge represented on this board. I know now not to waste my time AI'ing twice.  I am using a shorthorn bull that although is not popular (yet), I think will work well for me. I have confirmed I am not the only "nut" about my cows. I confirmed that I was not the only one with crappy luck this year, which although sad, made me feel better.  I learned that cattle people have OTHER interests other than cattle (imainge that!!  ;D )  I have learned some great jokes (where do you find all those smileys Red??) And I learned that even though we come from different parts of the country, produce different types of cattle, have a different idea of what is a good bull, we are really quite similiar. Funny isn't it!!! (clapping)

Congrats Steer Planet.....Grow on......and on.....and on......
