Manchild is a Hannibal X D.S., as are Blue Blood and Hired Man.  These were not chance matings.  Hannibal can flat out work on a good D.S. cow.

Do a google search for Hannibal X Double Stuff and take a look at some of the calves produced.

Hannibal, Hannibal, or Hannibal.

so you are saying to mate a WMW son to a WMW grandaughter?

I really like this mating.  Alot.   Hannibal is clean, is a GREAT match-up to Double Stuff cows, and you have WMW on both sides but enough apart on the tree that I see it as very low risk, and likely a plus.  If you breed her this way I would love to hear about the calf.

manchild.. hannibal x ds?? correct??  Tell me more about how the Hannibal x DS has worked in past...
when i first read this i was thinking the same but the problem with hannibal is yes he is going to put some grow in em and add some bone but my question is will they have enough rib.  i think hannibal would work but he said that he was worried about the cow throwing enough depth that is a turn off to me

Yes, that can be a concern of mine..  She is unlike some of the DS I have seen, I attribute that to the DJ Ceaser bull of the long and tall days.  Now on my cow, she herself doesn't have the depth of rib that I consider desirable, but on the other hand, she hasn't seemed to pass on that trait either into her calves, and for the most part, she hasn't been mated to any super deep, or above average depth bulls-- just our herd bull 2/3 of the time.

I know these two pics are not the highest quality, and are hard to see with the sun's flare... but o well, they still do a better job than the original ones.

My Turn might work, seems to work on  smaller framed correct cows and  add some hair, bone  and thickness. Don't know TH status on him,all I know is I sure have liked the calves.  Be interesting to see what Tiger Woods would do on your cow .He's ,clean and could sure chrome one up!
