Accomadations in Houston for hlsr

Where do you like to stay in Houston ?  Are there any camping areas close to reliant?

We are staying at the Crown Plaza which is close to the barn. It has a shuttle service too

There is a Holiday Inn...or a chain of it at the opposite end of the parking lot from the barns.  We've tried for years to get rooms there-don't have to pay for parking if you take more than 1 vehicle, and it's just a few minute walk through a parking lot back to room-no traffic.  Finally got rooms there this year-WOOHOO!!

We stay at the Holiday Inn every year.. luckily our breed has a block of rooms there!  The location is perfect!  You can walk to Reliant, and park right out  back with your parking pass.  It's nice to not have to drive back and forth!  You can sneak out for a quick nap and no one will even know you're gone!  <cowboy>  Plus their breakfast is good!
