Picked up a nice Ace of Diamonds Heifer out of a F1 Hereford/Angus cow. I will post some of the pics I have of her but I warn you I did not take them and they dont do very good justice. I am wanting to throw a Shorthorn on her but am pretty new to the breed and could use a little direction. Been looking at Muridale Buster 2nd 76P and Coalpit Creek Leader 6th.

This is her mama and in person I think she is really going to mimic her in size and type

I would use something with low bw. Something with depth. Ace for us sucked the gut out out of them. Are you in Canada? What sires do you have available?

What are your thoughts on MAV Bellringer or DIAMOND REGAL LEGEND their # on CE are pretty high but Regal Legend looks pretty sucked up in his flank and weak in his hindquarter. Dont want to completly throw balance out the window to gain calving ease

I would go saskvalley yesterday on her, he should add some body and fleshing ability to her. the calves I have had sired by him have came very easily and are very vigorous at birth

Renegade do you have an pics of your calves? I am really liking him but the only calf pic I could find was from a French Canadian breeders fb page.
