Thought I would update about my Iron Hide calves. We are pretty happy with them, for sure. They have great docility, and are big boned with plenty of power.
Pictured is a 14 month old bull I have for sale. We showed him at state fair, where he was champion percentage in the junior show. He was also reserve champ in his division. The other picture is a heifer we kept back, out of a Shear Force cow. We actually kept back two heifers, both stuck to their first AI attempt.
If you don't have your Iron Hide semen and have been thinking of using him, it might be too late! I found out he is no longer collecting, since he sustained an injury to his testicles while out with cows. I was told he is going up to $50 a straw. I have 7 straws left in my tank and plan on using them wisely.

That is a shame about Ironhide. I was planning on getting more then I saw this and genex already had it up to $50. Good looking pair of calves.

Here is our other Iron Hide yearling heifer. We have her bred to Lockdown for a Sept calf. She might go to Nationals this year... we really like her
