I am looking for insight on the SimAngus bull Ironside.  Has anyone used him, seen him, or his dam?  What kind of frame size does he sire.  Many thanks

We had two flushmate heifers last year out of a worth it half blood cow and I would say they are going to be on the more moderate side of things. Their other flushmate sisters were the same way in frame size as well. We got two more calves this year out of that mating this year as well as three out of a voyager purebred. We kept one of the heifers last year and have been very pleased with her, plenty of power and rib could use a bit more length and extension. His picture on Genex is pretty impressive.

I have seen him in person, and he is better than his picture I think. We have bred him to a bunch of cows for fall calves, and are eager to see the resulting offspring. I have also seen some of his calves at Taylor Cattle Compnay, and though they were young, they looked good. He seems to throw the bald face often.
Genex has another bull, new, that I am looking at. Live Ammo, a Lock nLoad purebred. Even better for us, but I have not seen him. They have a video of him on their web page. Judge for yourself.
