Anyone ever added drains to a building with pre existing cement in it? Throwing around an idea of adding a heated wash rack for the winter in my barn.

That is probably more work than worth.  I haven't added drains, but had to repair a drain and that required cutting out 16 foot of concrete and of course patching it.  Lots of dust and manual labor.

You can get a diamond blade for a partner saw and take the concrete out and have them in pretty quick.  It may even be quicker to call a local concrete coring / cutting company to come out and cut the up for you, with you just have to remove the existing concrete and put some steel drains / grates in.  They also make some good inserts out of ABS.

Do a little planning and you may be able to tunnel under and just have to cut a hole in the slab.  Works if you can keep within 10 foot on drain location.
